“Marry Me You Idiot” Is a Musical About Relationships And The Relationships That Happen In Relation To Relationships!

Tracy and Andy meet on the set of the Ellen DeGeneres show, having both lost their partners to strange and sudden deaths. They quickly fall madly in love…along the way we meet the colorful characters that cross the couple’s path as their romance blossoms. There’s Andy’s pal who loves technology more than actual people, his odd parents, and the overly helpful ring shop girl. Then there’s Tracy’s bitter best friend, her possibly gay co-worker and her hard driving sister, who just happens to look exactly like Andy’s deceased fiancée. Will Andy fall for the girl who acts like his dead soul mate or the one who just looks like his dead soul mate?

“Marry Me You Idiot” Tells the story of a romance and also reveals how the love affair of two people affect the lives of all the people around them.

“Marry Me You Idiot” is directed by Annoyance co-founder and artistic director of the Chicago Improv Festival, Mark Sutton with original music written by long time Annoyance musical director, Lisa McQueen.
